JOB PURPOSE

To monitor & coordinate with CISF, Immigration in Arrivals & Departure for their manning and Security support to Manager in case of any incidence / accident at Terminal-3 and to do the key management & access control in line with AOCC, CISF, Immigration, Customs and Airlines during shift on Security parameters.

Effectively manage the Security Operations at Terminal 3 by having interface with officers of CISF, Delhi Police, other government agencies and internal stake holders for ensuring smooth/ hassle free security operations. Also, to ensure adequate & serviceable security gadgets, implementation of regulatory compliances, fulfilling/resolving day-to-day security issues with respect to stake holders on one side and CISF on the other, implementation of preventive measures to thwart theft/pilferage, to investigate /enquire into incidents/ accidents, to implement action plan for improvement of ASQ/Skytrax score, to coordinate and participate in the conduct of mock drills, timely resolution of contingencies, to ensure implementation of Do’s & Don’ts in the Terminal during terror alert situations thereby ensuring safe & secure environment at Terminal 3 of IGIA.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supervise daily shift briefings at T3 - No of briefingsNo of issues discussed
  • Coordinate regularly with Ops inspector of CISF, Superintend Customs and Wing I/c of Immigration for smooth operations and also to ensure adequate manning of PESC, Customs and Immigration counters during peak hours
  • Extend support to reporting manager during investigation / enquiry on various incident / accidents/ thefts/pilferages reported during shifts
  • Supervise Key management process, access control & documentation. Ensure keys audits are conducted as per SOP. Also to submit compliance report to Reporting Manager 
  • Ensure enforcement drives are conducted periodically for violation of Airports rules / AVSEC orders and to follow up with concerned agencies for necessary corrective action 
  • Ensure 100% serviceability of security gadgets. To follow up with concerned agencies for timely rectifications. Also to submit compliance report to Reporting Manager - No. equipment unserviceableNo. of rectification with timeframe
  • Ensure timely supports are given to Quality Control Team on various IMS / Quality improvement activities at Terminals - C-SAT score of govt. agenciesWAA Audit / 5’s score
  • Monitor ASQ/Skytrax audits and implement initiatives to improve the scores - ASQ/Skytrax ratings

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details

  • Follow-up with respective agencies w.r.t non- compliance observed during BMA/BBA security checks
  • Ensure compliance of observations noticed during combing operations with CISF, DP & others
  • Ensure compliance of BCAS norms by concessionaires
  • Ensure surprise checks are conducted at the construction/renovation sites periodically for security compliance by vendors
  • Ensure timely coordination with CISF/Delhi police/Airlines with regard to death on-board / at terminal or unruly passengers
  • Ensure random checks are conducted on illegal/touting activities at forecourt area
  • Attend to passenger complaints in coordination with concerned teams (BHS, CCTV, Airline etc) w.r.t passenger’s complaints including baggage theft/complaints
  • Monitor and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during Haj operations
  • Submit DSR and Ops report to Reporting Manager
  • Ensure timely implementation of theft/pilferage preventive measures in the Terminal - No of preventive measuresNo of theft/pilferage cases, No of corrective actions

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate (in any Discipline) with Basic AVSEC.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi

 

Desirable- - Advanced aviation security courses, Training on Intelligence and Crime Control, Profiling etc

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in aviation security
