JOB PURPOSE

Execute and complete Civil/Pavement construction works in coordination with Electro-Mechanical works with implementation of highest safety & quality standards ensuring the works are completed within budget & time.

Key Performance Indicators

Design Management: Design and develop construction drawings internally for pavement construction works. Coordinate with consultants and clients for the necessary design inputs.

Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, satisfying all stake holder requirements.

Construction Management: Under the guidance of  the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / pavement works as per the agreed construction schedule to ensure the works are completed within time & cost complying quality standards.

Implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental measures as per the standard operating procedures

HSE Standard Operating Procedures

Certify contractor’s monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Review of daily/weekly progress report as per the work schedule. Coordinate with the contractor’s team of Engineers/supervisors and collectively work out action plan to catch up with the occasional/frequent delay of work progress

Drive the team development initiative by training and guiding the junior executives with emphasis on optimization of resources, value engineering during construction process and exploring the knowledge sharing aspects as a team

Provide support to bidding team for new projects by way of quantification, preparation of working drawings etc

Qualifying and winning the Projects.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Interact with external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects.
  • Interact with external stake holders of the projects to understand their requirements.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Reporting Manager, team members and other MEP team
  • Technical services & ARFF team
  • Airport Security & Control team
  • Airside Operations team

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • Should have work experience in project Management / execution of Infrastructure project, Public utility Building or Institutional Buildings with a minimum project value of 200 Cr.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • To handle a team of  5 plus.
  • To handle small projects parallelly.
  • Should have an exposure to at least one Airport.
  • Sound leadership skills with emphasis on team building, communication skills.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 9+ total years of experience with at least 6 years of work experience in leading the pavement construction works in airport
