JOB PURPOSE

Operation & Maintenance of Security & Surveillance systems of Airside Landside at GMR Airports in a safe cost effective manner with adherence to the rules of BCAS. Operation & Maintenance of Electrical Power systems and Building systems in GMR Airports.

ORGANISATION CHART

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To ensure a smooth O&M of HV,MV,LV electrical system along with ups, lighting, small power, substation,
    and lighting automation.
  • Routine testing of Transformer, Generator, Breaker, CT, PT, HT-Panels, LT-Panels, Protection Relays
    (ABB, SIEMENS, ALSTOM, Schneider, GE Relays), Power Cables up to 66KV etc.
  • Planning and implementation of PPM, CBM activities.
  • Monitoring and Controlling the Maintenance activities like Preventive, Break down, Corrective and
  • Conditioning based maintenance for HTPCC, LTPCC, TRANSFORMER, DG`s, MOTOR, UPS, BATTERY
    CHARGER, APFC (LT & HT).
  • Preparing and Maintaining the Statuary Compliance related documents like CEA Regulation, IS
    Standards, NBC Etc.
  • Preparing and Maintaining ISO Standard like EnMs ISO 50001:2018, EMS ISO 14001:2015.
  • Improvement activity like kaizen, 5S, BLIP, CIP in Substation and Switch rooms.
  • Maintaining and Tracking the Electrical Equipment spare inventory. Same Procuring the Spare to avoid
    any short fall during.
  • Monitoring and Review the Service Provider KPI`s.
  • Maintaining the Electrical Equipment Serviceability and Availability More than 99%. as per OMDA
  • Ensuring the Testing of Cable, Transformer, DG`s, HT panel, LT Panel, UPS, protection Relays etc. during
    the preventive maintenance Checks
  • Monitoring & controlling the Electricals works on the site.
  • Reviewing detailed construction method statements, equipment’s details/schedules and maintaining
    coordination with sub-contractors to handle project.
  • Pre-planning of the Testing and Commissioning of AIS Switchyards, GIS Switch Gear and Sub-stations
    using wiring and circuit diagrams
  • Knowledge in Cable Fault identification, Tracing, Rectification, diagnosis.
  • Knowledge in transformer Commissioning Testing’s, Diagnosis Testing and Transformer Oil Testing.
  • Fault Analysis (Relay Disturbance recording Analysis, RCA Analysis) and Rectification on stipulated time
    for HT panels, LT panels, DG`s, PLC, Cables, transformers.
  • Special/Initiatives – Participate in business excellence programs in the areas of process excellence, cost
    reduction, energy savings initiatives, implementation of 5’s’, audits and implementation of audit points
  • Providing training to contractors staff

  • Perform shift duties to manage engineering services and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to respond to operational needs and emergencies.
  • Maintain engineering service logs and monitor shift-wise performance indicators.
  • Ensure handover/takeover protocols are followed during shift transitions for operational continuity.

  3. Interact with the external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects
    and understand the advances in technology and trends.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • BE/B.Tech. - Electrical Engineering
  • Diploma.- Electrical Engineering

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  •  3 – 5 years with relevant experience in Electrical O&M and Testing and commissioning.
  • Good Communications skills
