JOB PURPOSE

Review of detailed designs and Execution of Systems like BHS, PBB, VDGS, Security screening equipment with high level of safety & quality.

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Design Management: - Support in Coordination and complete design reviews of Airport Systems like BHS, PBB, VDGS, Elevators & Escalators and Security screening systems designs for Airport projects from conceptual stage to detailed design by coordinating with Operations team, Technical Service Team, consultants and other stake holders of the Projects. Zero non- compliances to statutory requirements, satisfying all stake holder requirements.
Procurement management: - Support in Coordinating and assisting procurement team with Technical and commercial inputs in tendering, vendor evaluation for Airport Systems. Review the product data submitted by the vendors and prepare the compliance statement for final review and approval. Timely procurement, finalization of capable contractor / vendor, project Quality compliances.
Construction Management: - Support in Execution of Airport Systems projects like PBB, BHS, VDGS, Elevators & Escalators and Security screening systems as per specifications within time and cost, complying with statutory requirements. Timely completion, quality compliance, Safety, Health and Environment compliance.
Handing over of project: - Support in in Handing over of project to Client with required documentation, providing support to operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation. 
Contract Closure: Support in assisting Procurement and Contract team to close the all project related contract with all required backup data.
 
Acceptance by Client/operation team, stabilization of system for maximum output as per the service levels, contract closure.

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles  you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Interact with stake holders of the projects like CISF, Immigration, Customs, and Airlines etc., while executing the works at site.
Interact with Statutory agencies like Local Fire Authority, department of weights & Measurements and local corporations.
Interact with external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects and understand the advances in technology and trends.

Interacts with user departments and stakeholders for efficient coordination of works
Interact with individual team members and cross functional teams while work execution. 
Interact with Senior team members to appraise them with MIS.

 

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Must have involved in the Airport Systems projects like PBB, Security screening systems, VDGS and aware of vertical and horizontal movement systems.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

Manage and coordinate with multiple vendors and Stakeholders.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience and experience in installations of Airport systems is preferable.
