JOB PURPOSE

Operation & Maintenance of Security & Surveillance systems of Airside Landside at RGIA in a safe cost effective manner with adherence to the rules of BCAS.

Responsible for Planning, Supervision, Control & Execute Engineering and Maintenance works of Civil Department for Terminal, Airside & Landside Buildings  so that all the related systems are available and reliable to meet operational requirements complying with Budget, Safety and  Environment and Regulatory requirement apart from supporting team responsible for Quick Response Team (QRT)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Maintenance of the existing assets, Terminal Building, Airside, Landside , Ancillary Buildings, and drainage systems

Ensure Availability of Reliable Civil system for Airport Operations at Terminal, Airside, Landside :

Conduct Walkdowns, site survey and compile inputs from Wandering About Audits (WAA), Night Shift Report, Quick Response Team (QRT)

  • for corrective and rectification actions.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance as per schedule.
  • Spare & consumable availability for Civil maintenance work.
  • Periodic evaluation of the performance of the Civil Assets.
  • Ensure smooth terminal operation during monsoon by carrying out monsoon preparedness schemes
  • Reduction in damage to assets by various SOP’s and process.
  • Improvement in operational efficiency / reduction in power and water consumption
  • Spare cost control
  • Improving manpower productivity.

Third party inspection and audit coordination with regard to certifications

Concessioner in Terminals and landside for providing services

Supplier of spare, services and product

Consultant & Expert for design on new systems

    Procurement for providing spares and services
    Commercial Dept for execution of various civil development works

Finance Dept for budget and payment related issues and HR for recruitment and compliance etc 

Operation Dept. for providing air conditioning and water supply and civil works including doors

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • BE / B. Tech- Civil Engineering with 3+ experience
  • Diploma – Civil Engineering with 5+ experience

Knowledge on AutoCAD shall be preferable

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Building Maintenance / Execution of Civil projects at Airports, Metro, Hotels/Malls, Commercial Buildings etc
  • Good understanding of MEP systems wrt Utilities O&M interface like Substation, HVAC, Water treatment, water distribution system, Fire detection protection system, Building automation system,IT, Airport systems etc.
  • ARMO Experience wrt execution through DSR/otherwise.
  • Understanding of civil design and coordination of construction of large civil projects with various electro mechanical interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Civil structures
