JOB PURPOSE

The position at site level is responsible full material accounting of receipts/issues; custody management of assets; maintaining loan issue records, controlling stocks and monitoring with required coordination other departments such as planning, site, accounts and C&C.

Support in ensuring receipt, storage, issue and transfer of all materials of GGIAL at Stores as store process, conduct Scrap as per policy, thereby carryout inventory analysis to reduce total inventory cost by maintaining appropriate inventory level and optimum use of materials.

Accountabilities

Key Performance Indicators

Support in process for Receipt/Issue and transfer of materials from central store to end users and satellite store. Trend analysis & consumption of patterns for the materials being received & issued.

SAP generated data.
Nil Variance.
 

Support in Annual/Quarterly stock taking /cycle count. Submission of the report in MIS.

Gross variance <=1.0%

Lead Scrap Management: Identification of obsolete inventory. Preparation, Review & submissions of Trend analysis. Quarterly disposal
Support in processing vendors’ bill  against   all material POs at IGI airport with due certifications & cross-verifications as per Service Level Agreements. Within three days as reflected in monthly MIS (Serviceability 95%)
Support in monitoring annual budget  : AOP  plan Vs. actual  of central store includes raising of  Note for approval, Purchase requisition and follow-up with finance for Purchase Order  generation Analysis to justify within two days as per SAP report.

Interact with all users to understand their needs, difficulties and priorities and developing business alignment store process.
Interact with procurement people to discuss and sort out issues relating Purchase requisition  & Purchase Order.  
Interact with SAP team in Bangalore to clarify and resolve SAP related issue.

Interact with Finance team regarding AOP clarification;

Purchase order and vendor payments related issues.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • Operational  expenditure as per AOP Plan Vs Actual     Rs 46 Lakhs per annum
  • Capital  Expenditure of Central store department            Rs 50 Lakhs per annum
  • Monitoring monthly payments to service providers

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commerce Graduate
  • Diploma in inventory management preferable

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 6  years in relevant field
  • Knowledge in SAP MM module
  • Goan Candidates with desired experience will be an added advantage
