JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will operate in rotational shifts, overseeing Airside operations to ensure safe and efficient aircraft movement. This role involves real-time monitoring from APOC, proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and swift response during contingencies. The officer will manage field activities, project works, and operational approvals, ensuring seamless execution. A key responsibility is maintaining situational awareness and facilitating smooth communication across agencies to uphold safety, compliance, and operational continuity at all times.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
- DGCA, AAI, Fuel Farm, IMD, GHA, Airlines, Ground Handlers, CISF, Emergency services, Various Departments of the DGCA, ATC etc.,
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
- All Internal Departments including Airside Operations, ARFF, Terminal Operations, Security and control, technical services, Protocol, Safety and environment, IT & Communications etc.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
- Support Head TOPS in managing the Department AOP Budget
OTHER DIMENSIONS
- Coordinate with entire Airport dept. like CFL, ARFF, TS etc. for smooth operations of Airport shift working.
- Coordination with various internal/external stakeholders for MIS and projects.
- 5 direct staff reporting to Duty Manager and manage outsourced staff approx. 30 per shift
- Multiple outsourced manpower engaged in various operations activities
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-Graduate Degree in any discipline. PG degree in Aviation Management will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Annex 14 Advanced, ICAO annexures, ACI and relevant IATA Manuals.
- DGR/L&T/World Tracer/Airport Planner/Path Planner will be added advantages
- Knowledge and understanding of functioning of Airlines and Airports and requirements thereof.
- Working knowledge of all Statutory Rules Labour, Industrial, AAI Act, Aviation Rules, Customs Act and Basic Indian Penal Codes.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 12-14 years of experience in Airside operations
- Experience in Aviation/ Airport Sector
