JOB PURPOSE

To handle the commercial and contract aspect of coal related contracts (Example, Open market coal contracts, coal transport contracts, AMM contracts, consultancy contracts etc.) also responsible for reconciliation of payment and   mitigation of contractual risk.

Drafting of the contracts for coal (Purchase order for coal, coal transportation, AMM, coal sampling, consultancy, Tripartite agreements with railways and coal companies etc.)

Nos of the contracts/Purchase Orders /Work Orders and time line.

Post contracts management and invoice process.

As per coal procurement plan and  Nos of the contracts/Purchase Orders /Work Orders and time line.

Drafting of RFP /COC for coal procurement, transportation ,etc.

As per target.

 Preparation for payment MIS Suppliers /Vendor wise.  

Time line and accuracy

To ensure the contractual obligation from the supplier/vendors and to be highlighted the deviations

To highlight the deviation to authority matrix.

  • Total Budget for domestic coal procurement of 2013-2014 is Rs.1800 cr

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • Total domestic coal quality to be handled around 6 million tons for 2013-2014.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology.
  • MBA
