JOB PURPOSE
To plan and execute the plant C&I maintenance activities with objective of continual operation, resulting in reduced equipment downtime and avoiding spurious tripping of equipment due to instrument signal failure/ malfunction. The job requires following the standard documented procedure for preventive maintenance, scheduled calibration activities, defect management for reliable and uninterrupted power generation & supply and ensure achievement of business targets, plant performance monitoring.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintenance Management
Execution of day to day maintenance of CI instruments and OT system of BTG area on a Shift Rota Basis Execution of corrective and preventive maintenance of CI instruments and OT system of BTG area Execution of Shutdown maintenance of CI instruments and OT system of BTG area Execution of Opportunity based maintenance of CI instruments and OT system of BTG area completion of defect notifications completion of Preventive maintenance completion of instruments calibration Timely completion of shutdown activities Availability of CI instruments and control room OT systems eg DCS PLC servers clients network switches panel infrastructures etc
Capability Building
Proactive involvement in departmental projects other than routine jobs and learning new aspects both technically and behaviorally Number of Knowledge Sharing Sessions for associates technicians Attending Technical trainings conducted by external party
Spares Management
Regular stock review Material procurement requisition through SAP MM module Zero Unavailability of instruments due to non availability of spares Identification of instrument repairing local vendors and instrument new spare procurement vendors
Safety Management

- Ability to execute major activities in the Plant during the Capital / Annual Overhaul.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
BE/ B. Tech ( Electronics& Communication/ Electronics& Instrumentation/ Control& Instrumentation)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
4 - 6 years relevant work experience and knowledge of C&I systems & its Maintenance of Power Plant >100MW Capacity, preferably post graduate NPTI training completion required.
